Mary Eats Cake
Mary Eats Cake serves Melbourne's best High Tea. We have two wonderful locations, Brunswick and Montrose and are known for our incredibly fluffy scones.
Each venue has private tea rooms for special events such as Bridal showers, Birthdays and Baby showers with capacity for small and large groups.
We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am for High Tea and also have an a la carte menu available throughout the week.
For those wanting to enjoy High Tea at home or in the office, we have High Tea at home boxes as well as High Tea Catering!

Traditional High Tea
From Weekdays ($72 pp), Saturday and Sunday ($77 pp).
Each person receives:
- Traditional High Tea (four savoury items & three desserts)
- Glass of French Sparkling, non-alcoholic sparking on arrival
- Bottomless Fresh scones with jam and cream
- Unlimited speciality teas
Upgrade to Mary's Fancy Package for
- Unlimited Sparkling, non alcoholic sparkling, wine, soft drink, juice & coffee.
- Fruit & cheese boards
Weekdays ($89 pp), Saturday and Sunday ($97 pp).
Bottomless Brunch
Saturday and Sunday ($89 pp). Each person receives:
- Brunch High Tea (four savouries, three desserts) Note: coffee not included
- Select bottomless brunch cocktail and mocktails ( see menu for specific drink inclusions here)
- Fresh scones with jam and cream (bottomless)
- Unlimited specialty teas

Children's Package
Includes:
- One sausage roll
- One roast chicken and avocado slider
- One fresh scone with jam and cream
- One chocolate mousse cup
- Funfetti donut
- Fruit skewers

We specialise in hosting special events such as milestone birthdays, Bridal and Baby showers! Make your event extra special with a private room! All private room for hire include; Vintage teaware, white linens, menus and table numbers, small bud vases with seasonal flowers.
